The Australian Space Agency announced the Trailblazer program as part of the Moon to Mars initiative, which would see Australia working alongside NASA to design, test, build and remotely operate Australia's first rover on the moon. This program consisted of two Stages which would see the rover solution chosen from successful teams through early mission phases through to Preliminary Design Review. The AROSE consortium was one of two successful teams chosen for Stage 1 of the program. As part of the AROSE consortium, First Mode utilised specialist space and engineering knowledge to contribute to the design of AROSE's rover proposal.
As part of the First Mode team I created early conceptual 3D models of the rover design including its different configurations. I also created high fidelity renders of the updated lunar rover designs in a 3D lunar environment which were utilised in the Preliminary Design Review, and presented to the Australian Space Agency.
